According to class one, Jesus does magic.
It was the last week of term, class one had been spending some time thinking about the Easter story, we had read the easter story, acted it out, written about it, drawn a million pictures of it, we were infact completely immersed in the Easter story. Just as I had planned.
Now, before continuing this post, anyone who has read my facebook status updates since the start of the year will be familiar with my class. They are hysterically funny, lively, ridiculous at times and I love each and every one of them.
The conversation I am posting about today didn't involve me, I managed to over hear it while the children were working and it went something like this:
"There's no such thing as magic. Magicians dont do REAL magic, they just do tricks."
"There IS magic!"
"No there isn't!"
"Yes there is, God and Jesus are the only two people on the planet that can do magic."
"They didn't do magic....."
"....yes they did! How else would Jesus be able to rise from the dead?"
